User experience (UX) analytics/optimization firm ContentSquare is the latest to add an AI layer to help make sense of things.

The company — based in New York City and Paris — recently launched its new UX Performance Center, which provides real-time feedback on ways to increase engagement and sales in a customer journey on a web site.

It features an AI-based expert system and a bot named Arti that are intended to boost productivity and revenue by surfacing issues and solutions. The analyzed data include mouse movements and other user interactions.

Now, instead of searching for the insights manually, the Center’s new intelligence offers personalized notifications with alerts on key performance indicators (KPIs), tailored recommendations for improvements, and a discovery section that presents alerts/improvements in new areas. The platform’s machine learning is also designed to improve its insights through user feedback. Here’s an Insights screen:

The platform’s alerts and insights might decipher the intentions of aggregated visitors, provide alerts about why certain KPIs are not being met, show why a visitor received an error message, measure content performance or provide recommendations to counter shopping cart issues.
