Google AdWords Now Allows Bidding On Emojis?

Google AdWords has policies against using emojis in your ad copy, in fact, it has been a struggle for them to block it. But now Dan Perach shared a screen shot of Google AdWords allowing him to bid on the rose 🌹 emoji for money.

In fact, it shows he go one click for the rose emoji for $1.45 and another click for $6.94, those are not cheap clicks!

Here is his screen shot he shared on Twitter of the search terms report:

Google calls emojis "invalid or unsupported characters."

We do know Google will show emojis in the search results, organic ones, if the query is asking for you to show the emojis. But for all other queries, nope.

I wonder if Google AdWords changed their policy on emojis?
