2010 Honorable Mention: Gauntlet Hair
This duo based out of Denver Colorado has a great, almost nostalgic to the 80s sound for me. I love these guys ever since the first time i listened to them. They only have a few songs out, but i'm sure they will blow up in 2011.

This was hard but definitely my favorite song of 2010. This duo group/ husband and wife originally had met in college at the University of Colorado Denver and started playing together. There sound gives kind of 50s/60s beachy rock vibe, and its not hard to tell after listening to a few songs and investigating that they recorded this when they were sailing along the eastern seaboard.
